My Elk of the Month for July and August goes to PER Ron Starjnski. Ron has gone above and beyond his duties in taking care of the lodge. Ron recently spent time researching, purchasing and installing a new security camera system for the lodge. The old system had become outdated, and we were unable to replace parts or add cameras. Ron also recently took on the project of getting the conference room back into useable shape. Ron took care of removing the furniture, carpet and walls in the room to try and find the leak causing the mold and the source of our termite infestation. Attempts to repair the afore-mentioned issues are still underway, but I am sure will be completed in due time. Ron was also in charge of selling, ordering, and installing the new ceiling tiles to add a source of revenue for the lounge remodel.
