This month’s Elk of the Month is GLORIA CISNEROS!
Gloria has been nothing short of a Godsend this year, and I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for me, our Lodge, and our members.
Gloria has stepped up time and time again to guide me, offer her knowledge, and make sure I had the support I needed. Her willingness to help has made more of a difference than she probably realizes. Gloria has also gone above and beyond by filling in for officers at meetings and initiations whenever needed. She never seems to hesitate when there is a job that needs to be done.
Most recently, she volunteered to serve as Esquire while Steve recovers from his surgery, once again demonstrating her commitment to our Lodge and her fellow Elks. Gloria embodies what Elkdom is all about.
She gives her time, shares her experience, supports her fellow officers and members, and steps forward when she is needed most. I truly believe that if every Lodge had a Gloria, every lodge would be unstoppable.
